Lately the work at home community has been shaken up with talk about Google's AdSense program being dead as a money making opportunity. Is it true?

In a word, no. AdSense is still a solid way to make money when done correctly!

True story: When I built my first site, a friend told me I should drop my AdSense ads because they would cause people to click away from my site.

People are going to click away from your site and that's a fact of online business... but you might as well earn some money when they do it!

A lot of the people who come to your site are just going to be "looky-lous" with no intention of buying anything. Or they may enjoy reading your content but what you are offering isn't exactly what they're looking for. By serving AdSense ads on your pages you're actually offering the visitor more value... and getting paid to do it!

Long story short, it's a good thing I didn't listen to my friend because AdSense has been a very easy way for me to grow my online income every month.
